Description
Block B is a residential block at the University Hall of Residence, built between 1958 and 1960 by architects Sir Leslie Martin and Trevor Dannatt. The building is constructed from buff brick, timber cladding, and concrete, featuring a flat roof.
This three-storey block has an 'S' shape and is oriented to the south, with rooms located in the north and south wings. The ground floor is recessed, while the upper floors include balconies. Large plate glass windows are set in timber frames, with timber panels adjacent to the windows on the upper floors. Block B is an integral part of the layout of the former College Hall.
