Description
Block D, located to the east of the Social Block at the former College Hall of the University of Leicester, is a residential block with garages on the ground floor. It was built between 1958 and 1960 by architects Sir Leslie Martin and Trevor Dannatt. The building features buff brick and concrete construction with a flat roof. It is two storeys high and has large plate glass windows on the upper floor, which are set in timber frames. This block is an integral part of the layout of the former College Hall.
