Description

Block C is a residential block located due north of the social block at the former College Hall, University of Leicester. It was built between 1958 and 1960 and designed by Sir Leslie Martin and Trevor Dannatt. The building features buff brick, timber cladding, and a flat roof.

The structure has a rectangular plan with a central corridor and rooms on either side, spanning three storeys. It is characterized by large rectangular windows that are arranged in horizontal strips and framed in timber. There is also an attached single-storey brick block to the east. Block C is an integral part of the former College Hall layout.
