Description
The outbuildings to the west of Throstle Nest Farmhouse date from the same period as the farmhouse and are constructed of stone with a stone slate roof featuring kneelers. The buildings have stone architraves around the doors and windows, and there is an arched entry supported by stone voussoirs. To the right, there is a penticed extension. Another two-storey outhouse is located near the southwest corner of the farmhouse, which has one chimney and two windows with stone architraves. The stone slate roof also features kneelers, and there is a door in a stone architrave that leads up a flight of steps in the gable end. These outbuildings are included as part of the group with the farmhouse.
