Description
Green Gate Farm House is a building from the 18th century located on Otley Road in Burley in Wharfedale. It is two storeys high and constructed of coursed rubble. The building has a regular oblong shape but features irregular window placements. On the west side, there are four windows above, one intermediate window likely for stairs, and two windows below, all featuring glazing bars, with some being sash windows and others partly fixed. There are two doorways; one is long blocked, while the other has had its doorcase recently removed and originally featured a six-panel door. All openings have stone slab surrounds. At the left end, there is a one-storey gabled projection with a door on the side and a window in the end. The east front has three wide-spaced sash windows with glazing bars and an off-centre door. The roof is made of stone slabs, and there are moulded gutter blocks.
