Description
121 Ilkley Road is a circa 1834 house, formerly the manager’s house for Otley Mills. The two-storey building is constructed of stone with a Welsh slate roof. The front elevation has three windows, featuring hung sash windows with glazing bars. A string course runs along the window cills. A panelled door with a glazed fanlight is set within a stone architrave. The rear elevation incorporates a staircase window and two windows within stone architraves. The house was built for Mr Duncan, who was a partner of William Ackroyd. It forms a group with numbers 115 to 121 (odd) and 125 to 137 (odd) in relation to Otley Mills.
