Description

The Church Hall, located on Burras Lane, was built around 1830 as a private school by Dr. Kirk. This single-storey building is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof. It has coped gable ends with chimney stacks and eaves supported by brackets, showcasing Gothic architectural elements. The wide central doorway is topped with a semi-circular arch and features double doors with ornamental iron hinges. Above the door, a string course creates a drip mould, with foliated attached columns in the spandrels. The hall has four bays of paired round-headed windows, each with a string course that forms drip moulds. The Church Hall, along with All Saints Vicarage and the Coachhouse, forms a visual group.
