Description

This milestone, located at the junction with Eccup Lane, dates from the mid-18th century. It is a stone monolith with an arched square shape. The faces are dressed, and two of them feature inscribed lettering. The left face indicates "To Eccup" with a hand pointing to the left, while the right face reads "To Otley 1 Mile 6¼ Miles" with a hand pointing to the right. Additionally, it states "To Addle 3 Miles" and includes a bench mark.
