Pair of cottages now forming a single dwelling. Mid-late C18. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-bay facade. Quoins. 1st bay has doorway with tie-stone jambs to left of former 2-light window lacking mullion with former 3-light window above altered to 2 wide lights with recessed flat-faced mullion. 2nd bay has doorway to right of former 4-light window lacking 2 mullions with same above. 3rd bay has 2-light window to each floor with inserted small window to 1st floor. Gutter brackets. Lacks chimneys. Coped gables with kneelers. Rear has 2 large windows with plain stone surrounds to left of former 4-light window which retains recessed central mullion. 1st floor has inserted window to left of 3-light flat-faced mullioned window with recessed mullions. Left-hand return has small arched light (blocked) with chamfered surround to attic. Right- hand return has 2-light window (blocked) to attic. Included for group value.
