Description

No. 2 Square Road is a house that was originally two cottages, now combined into one. It is part of a long row of cottages and dates from the early 19th century. The building features watershot masonry and a stone slate roof, with large dressed quoins. It has two storeys and two bays, each bay containing a doorway with a sill tie to a two-light flat-faced mullioned window above. The doorway in the right-hand bay has been converted into a window, with an additional light added to create a three-light window. There are two stacks at the ridge, and the right-hand return wall is rendered.
