Description
No. 20 Square Road is a cottage dated and initialled J.S., which is attached under the same roof line to No. 18. It features watershot masonry and a stone slate roof. The building is a single cell with quoins, a doorway that has a sill tie, and a 3-light chamfered mullioned window on each floor. There is a stack at the ridge. The date of the cottage suggests it is a remarkable example of vernacular architecture or possibly an early revival.
