Description

The war memorial located in St Paul's Churchyard, Shadwell, was built around 1920. It is made of ashlar and features octagonal steps, a base, and a shaft topped with a crucifix. The front of the base is inscribed with the dates '1914/1918' and '1939-1945', along with the names of 27 individuals who served in the First World War and 7 from the Second World War. This memorial is included for its group value.
