Description
The war memorial stands south of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, dating to circa 1918 and commemorating the First World War. It is constructed of ashlar. The memorial features a moulded shaft with a niche containing small figures of servicemen. At the head of the shaft is a capital and a gabled crucifix with a crocketed pinnacle. The memorial stands on a stepped base inscribed with the names of the dead. It forms a group with the parish church, its boundary wall, and a monument to J H Earle.
