Description
No. 6 Brook Street is an early 19th-century building with a stuccoed exterior. It features overhanging eaves on a gable-ended roof and stands three storeys tall. The first and second floors have three sash windows with glazing bars, while the centre window is blind. The ground floor has a Victorian shop front, which includes fluted pilasters and a fascia with a cornice and console brackets. The left-hand return end wall is constructed from flint cobbles with red brick dressings. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2, 4, and 6 Brook Street, as well as Wenduyne, Melrose Cottage, and Maynard House in Tucker Street.
