Description

30 and 32 Market Place is a former single house in Classical style, now divided into two properties. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of painted ashlar with a Welsh slate roof featuring a tall central ashlar stack. The building stands three storeys high and includes sill bands, an eaves cornice, and a blocking course. It has two bays with flat arched windows that have grooved keystones and later sash windows. There are blank panels above the second floor, and the ground floor has been altered to accommodate modern shops.
