Description

This pair of telephone kiosks, located on the central reservation of Market Place, were designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and are classified as Type K6. They are constructed from cast iron and feature a square shape with a domed roof. The top panels have unperforated crowns; one displays the crown of George VI, while the other has a replacement crown of Elizabeth II. The kiosks also include margin glazing on the windows and door.
