Description
Nos 434 to 440 on Leymoor Road are early to mid 19th century buildings constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof and coped gables. They feature stone brackets supporting a gutter over a continuous string course. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor has four doors with stone surrounds and two four-light stone mullioned windows, one of which has one mullion removed. There are also two three-light stone mullioned windows, with one having one mullion removed. The first floor contains six three-light stone mullioned windows, with one having one mullion removed.
The northwest elevation has one four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, with one light blocked and one mullion removed. The first floor features four three-light stone mullioned windows and one ten-light stone mullioned window, which has two mullions removed and four lights blocked.
