Description

This is a bridge built in the early to mid 19th century. It features a single span with a segmental arch that crosses over the overflow from Butterly Reservoir. The bridge is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with slightly rusticated dressings. A pronounced string course serves as the base for the parapet, which is topped with flagstone copings. There are also more recent arched culverts on either side of the bridge.
