Description
Well Lane is a late 18th century building with early to mid 19th century additions to the north. It is a farm terrace constructed of hammer dressed stone, with some parts rendered. The building features quoins and a pitched stone slate roof, along with moulded footstones and an apex finial on the south gable.
It stands two storeys high. On the west elevation, the ground floor includes one six-light stone mullioned window, which is recessed and has a central King mullion, and two recessed four-light stone mullioned windows. There is also a lean-to extension. The first floor has two four-light stone mullioned windows, one of which has one light blocked, and two three-light stone mullioned windows.
The east elevation features a lean-to extension with a catslide roof, three entrances with stone surrounds, and various single and two-light windows. The north gable has a small lean-to extension on the ground floor and one two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. The south gable has later windows.
