Description
This is a good aisled barn located 20 yards to the east of Manor House, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with cladding likely from the 18th century. The barn is constructed of coursed rubble and features a central recent brick porch. It has quoins and a stone slate roof, with slate covering the porch. The barn has a rectangular plan, with the porch slightly projecting to the east. There is a partially blocked entrance on the west side and a small light at each gable apex.
Inside, the barn consists of five bays and includes four king-post trusses supported by posts, with an aisle on each side. The trusses are braced to the ridge and to the arcade plates, as well as to the posts, and the structure features aisle posts and aisle ties, along with through purlins.
