Description

This is a house, originally a single dwelling, now divided into two properties. It dates to 1703, with an addition built in the early 18th century. The front is constructed from hammer-dressed stone, rendered at the rear. The corners are emphasised with quoins, and the roof is covered with stone slates, now protected by bitumen. The gables have hollow-chamfered copings with stone kneelers. A central stone chimney stack is present.

The house is two storeys high and has a double-pile plan. The main entrance is centrally positioned, featuring a deeply lintelled doorway carved with the inscription "I B 1703.” A hood mould above the doorway acts as a drip moulding, extending to both sides. The windows have been altered; originally, there were three-light, double-chamfered windows, but these have been enlarged. A blocked two-light window and a 19th-century doorway are on the left side. On the first floor, there are two four-light windows and a central three-light window, all double-chamfered, but with all but one mullion removed. The rear addition features two four-light double-chamfered windows and a central single-light window on the first floor. The ground floor at the rear has been altered.
