Description
No 7 Oakes Road South is an 18th-century longhouse-type farmhouse located in Lindley. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables supported by cut kneelers. It has two storeys and stone brackets supporting the gutters. The façade includes a range of three 3-light stone mullioned windows, a 6-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, and a 5-light window on the ground floor, which has two removed mullions. The property also has segment-headed barn doors and flat-topped barn doors, with a lintel that has been reused from an earlier building, featuring tenoned joints.
