Description

The boundary stone, located opposite St Paul's Vicarage, dates from around 1830. It is a stone slab with a rounded top. The front of the stone features an incised central boundary line, with the word "Batley" to the left and "Dewsbury" to the right, both in incised lettering. This stone marks the boundary between the towns of Batley and Dewsbury.
