Description

This is a cowshed adjoining No 6, built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed hammer-dressed stone and coursed rubble, with quoins on the southeast elevation and a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys.

On the southeast elevation, the ground floor features a doorway with stone surrounds and a four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has a two-light stone mullioned window. The northwest elevation, which is only one storey high, includes a doorway with irregularly sized quoins and a blind window. This structure is included for its group value.
