Description

This guide post, located at the junction of Wadsworth Lane, is likely from the late 18th century. It is made from a single stone and features four dressed faces. Two of these faces are engraved with pointing hands and the words "BRIDGE" (indicating Hebden Bridge) and "WELL" (for Pecket Well), although the alignment of the engravings is incorrect.
