Description
No. 13 Pleasant View is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble brought to course and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and large quoins. The south front includes an inserted doorway next to a two-light chamfered mullioned window, which has a similar window above it but lacks the central mullion. The original door entry, which has a heavy lintel and composite jambs, has been blocked and replaced with a window that has a single light above it. The right-hand return wall displays a broad gable for a double pile single-cell cottage and has a stack at the ridge. The rear of the house features a three-light chamfered mullioned window made up of two wide fixed lights with a smaller central light that was formerly sashed. There is also a doorway with monolithic jambs and two sashed windows on the first floor.
