Description
No. 2 Harts Lane is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of rubble stone with a stone tiled roof. It features coped gables and a rebuilt stack at the south end. The building is two storeys high and has a drip course at the first floor level. The stone-mullion windows include two 2-light windows above, with a cyma moulded design; the left window has a flush surround while the right window is recessed. On the ground floor, there is a 2-light bead-moulded mullion window to the left and a 3-light cyma-moulded window to the right, both with recessed surrounds. To the right of the windows, there is a door set in a chamfered flush surround, topped with a hood supported by brackets. An ashlar screen wall has been built up to the hood on the right side.
