Description

Nos. 26 and 28 on Doghouse Lane are a house originally known as Doghouse, dating from the early 18th century. It was converted into two cottages in the early 19th century. The building features watershot masonry and a stone slate roof, with quoins at the corners. It is two storeys high and has a double-pile layout with two cells. Each cell contains double-chamfered mullioned windows with three uneven-sized lights on each floor, along with a doorway that has monolithic jambs. There are two stacks at the ridge. The rear of the building retains chamfered mullioned windows with two and three lights.
