Description

A pair of cottages, built in the late 18th century, are located to the west of the mill at Lower Ellistones. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. Each cottage features a doorway with tiestones to the jambs, and a four-light, flat-faced mullioned window. Above are mullioned windows, one of four lights and the other of two lights. Two stacks are located on the ridge of the roof. The cottages are listed for group value only.
