Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century cottages located on Brook Hill. The cottages are built of hammer-dressed stone and have stone slate roofs. Each cottage has two storeys. They feature a doorway with tie-stone jambs at each end, and a 2-light flat-faced mullioned window on the ground floor, with two single-light windows above. A central stack rises from the ridge of the roof. The cottages are included in the listing for their contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
