Description

Nos 68 and 70 on Main Street are a pair of cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high with five bays and four first-floor windows. The paired central doorways have monolithic jambs, while the former doorway in the first bay has been altered to a window. The windows have wedge-shaped lintels and projecting sills, although the glazing has been altered. There are two ridge stacks, one of which is rendered. These cottages are included for their group value.
