Description
Crowtree is a house built in the mid-18th century, consisting of two sections. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and four windows on the first floor. The layout follows a three-room plan, with quoins on the left cell. All windows are flat-faced mullioned types with slightly recessed mullions.
Starting from the left, there is a doorway with tie-stone jambs, which is covered by a lean-to porch. Next, there is a two-light window with a three-light window above it. Following that is a four-light window, which has been altered to a two-light window, with a similar three-light window above. There is another doorway with tie-stone jambs that has been changed to form a window, with a two-light window above it. Finally, there is an inserted doorway with monolithic jambs, which has a two-light window above. A single ridge stack is located between the first and second cells.
