Description

Bradley Hall Farmhouse is a house that has been converted into a store for an egg producer and is currently empty. The main part of the building dates from the 17th century and features finely dressed stone with quoins. It has two storeys and a gabled roof. There is an original extruded stack at the gable, along with a double chamfered mullioned window of two lights, and a similar window above it, both of which are missing their mullions. The front-facing gable has been rebuilt and now includes a two-light flat-faced mullioned window, with sash windows on the first floor.

On the ground floor, there is a later single-storey gabled porch that abuts the main structure. At right angles to the main range is a late 18th-century two-storey extension, which is rendered at the front and consists of a single room. This extension has two-light flat-faced mullioned windows and a similar window above a cottage door. There is also a recent lean-to shed on the gable end, which features an end-on stack and an internal stack. The other side of the building has a two-light flat-faced mullion window on the first floor and single-light windows on the ground floor, along with a single-storey extension that has a tall brick stack at the gable, which also includes a single-light window. All of these windows retain their original six-pane sashes.

Running parallel to the main range is a two-storey wing that has been much altered, with a three-storey back and the remains of a 17th-century mullioned window in the wall. The building is topped with stone slate roofs and stone ridge tiles, but it lacks copings.
