Description

Nos 3 and 4 Sowood Fold form a pair of late 18th-century cottages. They are built of hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high. Each cottage has a three-light mullioned window, flanked by a doorway with monolithic jambs. Above the ground floor windows are further mullioned windows, with two, three, and four lights, and all mullions are intact.
