Description

Nos 5 and 6 Sowood Fold are a pair of cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from thin coursed hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The two-storey gabled front has doorways with monolithic jambs and two thin flat-faced mullioned windows with three lights each, along with a four-light and a three-light mullioned window above. There is a single stack located at the ridge.
