Description

Nos 16 and 18 Station Road are a pair of cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two single cells arranged in a double-depth layout. Each cottage has one two-light flat-faced mullioned window on each floor, although they likely had four lights originally but are now missing two mullions. To the left of the doorway, which has monolithic jambs, there is a former two-light window above. A single central stack rises from the ridge. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
