Description

The Dog and Partridge Public House is a late 18th-century building constructed from thin coursed hammer-dressed stone, topped with a slate roof featuring coped gables and kneelers. The structure has a two-cell plan and stands two storeys tall. The front of the building is accented with dressed quoins, and a 20th-century porch has been added to the centrally placed doorway. The original window arrangement remains intact, with a four-light thin flat faced mullioned window on the left side and a three-light mullioned window on the right, above which are two two-light and one three-light mullioned windows. An internal stack is located at the right-hand gable.
