Description

Numbers 1, 2 and 3, Moor Hey are part of a long row of cottages built in the early 19th century. Constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, the cottages are two storeys high. Each has a doorway with monolithic jambs and a three-light flat-facet mullioned window above the door. There are two- and three-light windows on the upper floor. Stone gutter brackets are positioned in pairs, and the chimneys have ridged stacks with a coped gable to Number 1.
