Description
This barn, located 20 meters south of the cottage attached to the east of No. 3 Little Hollin Hey, likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The front has a segmental arched cart entry supported by skewbacks, with mistal doorways on either side that have monolithic jambs, along with three rectangular chamfered ventilators. There is a similar cart entry at the rear. The left-hand return wall has a square pitching hole at the apex, while the right-hand return wall includes square and rectangular ventilators, as well as an arched ventilator at the apex.
