Description
Town Ing Mill, dated and initialled 'TW 1841', is a mill constructed from hammer-dressed stone, featuring a stone slate roof with a coped gable supported by kneelers and square-headed gutter brackets. The gable end rises three storeys high and is adorned with three square sash windows on each floor, some of which still have their original 42-pane glazing bars. Above these, there is a Venetian window in the attic. The side of the building has five bays with similar windows. A large decorative wrought iron weathervane is situated on the gable. The lower ranges on either side of the mill are not included in this listing.
