Description

Holroyd Square comprises four cottages built under a single roof, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. They are two storeys in height. Each cottage features a single four-light mullioned window to each floor, although two mullions have been removed from each. The cottages have paired doorways; those to numbers 1 and 2 have particularly large jambs and lintels. There are three stacks on the ridge of the building.
