Description

The cottage, located 20 meters north of Higher Ashes, is now used as a garage. It features an inscribed door lintel that reads 'I S 1714'. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and has a stone slate roof. It is a single-storey structure. The south front includes a doorway with composite jambs and a chamfered surround. On either side of the doorway, there are double chamfered mullioned windows with two lights, although the mullion has been removed. The cottage has coped gables with kneelers and a reduced stack. The left-hand return wall features a garage door.
