Description

This is a derelict cottage attached to the east side of Ashes, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and stands 2½ storeys tall, featuring two first-floor windows. On the left side, there is a part-glazed door. The ground floor has two 4-pane windows set in chamfered ashlar surrounds with dripmoulds. The first floor includes one 4-pane window in a chamfered ashlar surround with impost jambs and dripmould, along with another 4-pane window. There is a small light located under the eaves, and a stack is positioned at the right end of the building.
