Description
126 Sunbridge Road and 9 Vincent Street is a Grade II listed building, dated 1892, serving as a small warehouse and office premises. It is located on a corner site and features a subtly modelled elevation made of finely dressed sandstone brick and ashlar. The building stands three stories tall with a semi-basement that has a rock-faced finish.
The facade consists of six bays, with window reveals that extend from the segmental heads on the second floor down to the platband over the basement, creating the appearance of a narrow applied arcade. The ends of the ashlar frieze and the moulded eaves cornice are inswept. The reveals of the left-hand window bay are swept out inversely, mirroring the form of the frieze ends to accommodate the two-light ground floor windows on the left.
There is an architrave doorway above which is a small square architrave framed light, supported by ashlar flat console brackets and topped with a small pediment. A similarly framed light is located above the waggon entrance on the right side.
