Description

The United Reform Chapel was built in 1849, likely by the architects Andrews and Delaney. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a slate roof. The front elevation consists of three bays and showcases a giant Doric order, with square section pilasters on the outer sides and half columns within. On either side of the larger door surround, there are semi-circular headed windows set in splayed reveals. The entrance includes a panelled door, a rectangular light above it, an architrave with a bracket head, and a large fanlight in the arch above. The design is completed with a simple entablature and a pediment.
