Description
Nos 102, 104, and 106 on Thornton Road were built around 1850 as the Soho Mills. This four-storey building is constructed of sandstone "brick" with ashlar dressings. It features eleven closely set window bays, with sill bands and spaced dentils along the eaves. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are flanking corniced chimneys positioned above the eaves. The windows are fitted with cast iron glazing bars. On the left side, the ground and first floor windows are combined in paired round-headed arches. In the center of the front, there is a large semi-circular archway with voussoirs and a key.
