Description

Milestone located 150 metres south-east of Low Holme House. This milestone dates from the early to mid 19th century and features an arched stone structure overlaid with a cast-iron triangular section. The lettering is in relief, with the top reading "SKIPTON & OTLEY ROAD ADDINGHAM." The left face indicates "ILKLEY BOLTON 2¼ MILES BRIDGE 3 MILES," while the right face shows "OTLEY SKIPTON 8¼ MILES 7 MILES."
