Description
This is a row of six sandstone cottages, numbered 10 to 18, located on the north side of Holroyd Hill in Wibsey, dating from approximately 1820. They are part of a larger group of cottages which also includes numbers 4 to 8. The cottages have stone slate roofs with decorative block brackets along the eaves and corniced chimneys. The windows are originally two-light square mullion windows set within squared surrounds. Above each doorway is a single light with squared jambs. Some windows have been replaced with later 19th-century or modern casements. The cottages are included in the listing for their contribution to the group value of the row.
