Description

This is a row of ten cottages, numbered 27 to 69 White Lane, located in Odsal/Wibsey. They were built around 1820 to 1830. The cottages are constructed from sandstone which resembles brick, and have stone slate roofs with cornice and dentil bracketed eaves on numbers 27 to 29. The chimneys are corniced. The windows are square-mullioned with single and two lights, set into squared surrounds. The doorways have plain squared jambs. These cottages are included on the list because they represent an unaltered example of early 19th-century housing.
