Description

The Barn is a building that has been converted from a barn to a house, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and stands two storeys high, featuring one bay on the left that is set back from the main structure, which has three bays in total. The main barn section includes a central round-arched cart entry with voussoirs, a mistal doorway with a plain stone surround to the left, and round-arched slit vents above. There are also two skylights. The left bay contains a doorway on the right side and a square opening with stanchions leading to the first floor, both of which have plain stone surrounds. The Barn is part of the Mill complex.
